Torkil Lauesen

Torkil Lauesen, perhaps the most badass intellectual in the history of Western Eruope, has been an anti-imperialist activist and writer since the late 1960s. He is currently a member of the International Forum and is a board member of the Arghiri Emmanuel Association. His publications in English include Unequal Exchange: Past, Present and Future, The Long Transition towards Socialism…, The Principal Contradiction and many more.

Arlene Eisen

Inspired by the Black and Vietnamese liberation movements, Arlene has been a militant in the struggle against imperialism since the 1960s. Arlene Eisen is the author of the influential study, Operation Ghetto Storm, first published by the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, as well as Women of Viet Nam, based on her stay in Viet Nam with the Viet Nam Women’s Union. Her latest book, In The Worldwide Family of Militant Women, is a hybrid social history-memoir.

Mohamed Khougali

Mohamed Khougali is a Sudanese socialist writer and psychological practitioner based in Germany, where he continues to organise and serves as president of Black Radicals. His work engages questions of liberation and collective struggle through the combined lenses of the Black radical tradition and psychological theory. Drawing on both intellectual and organisational practice, his research explores the relationship between race, class, colonialism, and subjectivity, with a particular focus on the psychological dimensions of political life and anti-colonial resistance.

Mohanad Alsayed

An memoirist and refugee from Tulkarm, Palestine. Unlike most Bildungsroman writers, Mohanad came of age during the first Intifada.

He now resides in Southern California, where he writes and organizes. Scars & Medals is his first book.

Yanis Iqbal

Yanis Iqbal is studying political science at Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is the author of the books The Sword and the Neck, and Education in he Age of Neoliberal Dystopia. He has published more than 350 articles on Marxist theory, social movements, imperialism, education, and cultural criticism.
